With the 1st Royal Dragoons in the van, these are just of few selected shots of the cavalry in action this year.

The memorial service was
held on the saturday at Quatre Bras to commemorate the  192nd  anniversary of this battle, where the 1RD served and fought off the advancing French army before withdrawing through Genappes (pictured) before continuing the battle at Waterloo 2 days later.

At Waterloo they captured the Eagle of the 105th Regiment.
